IQF Green Asparagus Spears consists of units of frozen asparagus which are typical green, light-green, or purplish-green in color, with good flavor and odor; product include frozen asparagus spears, cuts, tips and cuts, absence of insect damage and decay.
Frozen Green Asparagus Spears are carefully prepared from sound and succulent fresh shoots of the asparagus plant (Asparagus officianalis), then by sorting, trimming, washing, and blanching as necessary to assure a clean and wholesome product. It is then frozen, packaged and stored at temperatures necessary for preservation.
