Buckwheat (scientific name: Fagopyrum esculentum Moench). Alias: sweet wheat, wheat, triangle wheat,etc. Buckwheat is annual herb. Stems erect, 30-90cm tall. Buckwheat is short day crop, adapt to cool and moist, not resistant to high emperature and drought, wind and frost. Buckwheat has distribution in most parts of China.
